SC/APC SM SX Connector

A plastic push-pull connector, with a 2.5mm ferrule. A general purpose push/pull style connector.Push-pull connectors require less space in patch panels than screw on connectors. It’s a snap-in connector that latches with a simple push-pull motion. It is also available in a duplex configuration.SC has an advantage in keyed duplexibility to support send/receive channels. The SC is the second most commonly used connector for PM, polarization maintaining, connections. Mostly used for CATV applications. SC is a snap-in connector that is widely used in singlemode systems for it’s excellent performance and multimode systems because it was the first connector chosen as the standard connector for TIA-568.
